I have never noticed a sucker with a head as bad as this one had. We are not sure what the white spots are or what they could be from. Guess fish get Chicken Pox or something just like people do.
I have caught several of these drum or sheep heads I really wish someone could help me to figure out a way to make them not bite. They swallow the hook about half the time and any time i find my bait missing i think they are sucking it off.
I caught this Sucker or carp of some kind With a worm on the bottom. The suckers head was pretty slimy and left a stinky film on the pier where i took a pic and removed the hook from it. I really don’t mind catching them even with the stinky slime they create. They usually put up a fight and are a little too heavy to lift out of the water without getting your hands wet.
I caught this small mouth bass casting a yellow and Green Twister with a light yellow head. it hit almost as soon as the lure hit the water I must have cast right on top of its head. Its a lot of line out and have to reel any fish a long way in.
I always fun catching them this way.
Have been catching so many of these little sheep head I think I am not going to use worms next time i go fishing. maybe switch to chicken liver on my set pole.
Lots of Sheep Head Have been biting. Dont really mind catching them but it would be nice if they didnt bite so often that no better fish have time to find my bait.
