Tonight I decided to run into town to get an iced tea from Mobil and i noticed there were no cars at the boat launch. So I decided to try fishing for a short time since there was a full moon.
I tried to capture the full moon in the first picture it was so beatuiful. The seccond picture is one of the sheep heads i caught while i was out there.
My camera is not so good at taking pictures at night as you can probably tell from these pix. I am hoping to get a new one soon. Just need to make a decision to which one.

This is one of the larger channel cats I have caught this year. Its good sized for the area we fish but still compaired to cats I have caught in previous fishing seasons its on the smaller side.

Jason Caught The Big One.
A 10 Pound Anchor.
This was actually weird because he casted down stream so something must have pulled his line under the boat. Anyway it was the biggest thing he caught all day.

I have caught several of these drum or sheep heads I really wish someone could help me to figure out a way to make them not bite. They swallow the hook about half the time and any time i find my bait missing i think they are sucking it off.

This one was fun to catch. I caught it on my first cast after putting on a yellow twister. Just flipped it about 10 feet from the dock then gave it a little wiggle and there he was. I had forgotten how fast they dart through the water once i set the hook. Its hard to believe how fast they can run. ? Swim ?

Well here is one of the smallest sheep heads i have caught in my life. I hope to take more pictures from different perspectives. I Would like to take requests. If anyone has enough guts to post any suggestions of what kind of pictures would be most interesting. |
I am also posting this out of the normal format to show some examples of how simple it is to modify and customize posts.

This Striper or whitebass took off fast swimming down streem when i set the hook. For a smaller fish they put up a pretty good fight. Expecially if you use a lighter action rod. This one was caught using a yellow mister twister. I have had alot of luck with that color.

I caught this small mouth bass casting a yellow and Green Twister with a light yellow head. it hit almost as soon as the lure hit the water I must have cast right on top of its head. Its a lot of line out and have to reel any fish a long way in.
I always fun catching them this way.

This hungry sucker was a lot of fun to bring in. It is bigger then most of the fish I have caught from the boat launch and with the strong current it is pretty difficult to reel in. I am hoping to hook into a game fish this size in the near future.
