I took mom to one of her MRI appointments at Summit. I wouldn’t normally post about something like this but while sitting in the waiting room I decided to take a picture to send to some friends and family. I thought the picture of mom turned out really good so here it is.

Mom really likes this butterfly that she ironed on her purple sweater. She wanted me to take a picture of it not really sure why but anyway hehe I did take the pix of it for here so I thought I would share it with all of you.

On our way home mom and I decided to give Mel a call to see if she wanted to meet us uptown for lunch. So we met and took a few more pix. It was a good time and a nice lunch. Taylor was sure full of smiles she was happy she got to sit next to her Grandma. I think we should try to do lunches like this more often.

Today was a pretty unusual day.

The day started with me waking up around 6:30 at Michelle’s. I did the normal morning things and when i found my phone and checked my text. I had a message from Jason reminding me that we were going to go fishing. So I responded to him letting him know that I wanted to but I would not be on time.  So we decided to meet at the boat launch.

When i arrived i took all my fishing gear out of my truck and walk out on the pier and sat down and started to open stuff up. I decided i wanted to change lures I went to cut the Lure off my line with needle nose pliers and when I pulled the line the lure stuck right into my pinky finger. It didn’t really hurt too bad at that moment. I figured that i had just hooked myself skin deep. Then i went to back the hook out and OMG. This was not so good. it hurt Like HECK.  It made my stomach weak and i felt dizzy.

I decided to wait a couple minuets to see if the pain would pass. Then Jason’s dad walked out the pier and saw my finger and suggested I went home and put some ice on it then back it out myself. There was no way i was going to be able to do that. I am too much of a baby when it comes to any pain at all. So Jason picked up all of my fishing equipment and his own and drove me to the Dr here in Byron.

They gave me 3 shots in the pinky and soaked it in some red stuff i figured to clean it. Then the dr pulls out some bolt cutters that were big enough to cut my finger off. Then he snipped the lure off and all that was left was the hook part inside my finger. Then he grabbed pliers out of his toy box and pushed the hook all the way out through a new hole. I couldn’t look but Jason watched the whole thing. Then I took a pic and replied to some text messages that I had received while in the Dr office

I signed the papers they needed me to and left. We went to the gas station and got something to drink. Then i got a call and had to go back to the Dr. they forgot to give me a tetanus shot. So i went back for that and was only in there a few minuets.

Finally got back to the boat launch and unloaded the fishing equiptment again and started fishing. I caught a little sheep head quickly and Jason hooked one and just as he brought it out of the water it flipped off. I then casted and jigged around the rocks on shore and hooked a nice bass. jason started to get sleepy so he headed home and i fished a short time longer and caught the teeny weenie baby bassey.

hello family and friends, i have had a so so day not to bad, far from complaining about, hey no headaches so you know it hasn’t been to bad, morning started out pretty slow, doug got off to work-he called me about one hour later asking about his bagel that i had forgot to put in his lunch, he wasn’t really upset but i sure was, gee how could i have forgotten his b-fast bagel fast forward to when he got home tonight and im cleaning out his lunch box, when isee hmmm he didn’t drink his ice tea hmmm well no wonder i put one of my honey ice teas in there instead of his plain no sugar tea geewizzz (he was so sweet about it- he says thats ok pats i wasn’t to thirsty today geeewizzzz wherewas my brain this- AM-while i was putting his lunch together, mel and kids stopped over for a few minutes mostly cause taylor had to have her unicorn she had left over here, when the three girls next door seen the kids pull up they were here in about 5 min, to play. Austin told me his music teacher now calls him mario  because he loves to wear his mario shirts and then austin said his music teacher is luwedgi because he is bigger , it was funny,, taylor was in a giggle mood and was ready to go home 5 min after she got here because all she wanted was her unicorn well she had along day mel and taylor went grocier shopping stopped at grandma greats and had to be home before austin got off bus- mel said minnie was doing ok but it was hard holding her, i have gotta get to moms its been to long since i have been there and i wanna see minnie and see how she is doin for myself, i guess moms hand is healing and mel said it was wrapped up, stacy called me a couple hours ago just to say hi and check in on things we both got so tired we could barely talk on the phone and here i set two hours later tryin to type. jim is much better today then he was yesterday having them two teeth pulled was a bit rough on him well not only him it wasn,t easy on me neither it was gross,thats the only way i can put it gross gross but i think the vico is helping him alot im having him take some probiotics with the amoxcicilian , the porkchops we had for dinner didnt work out to good for him but the cheesey noddles he did okay with…. we got the ball game on cubs and cardnals 3to3 bottom of the ninth, well im thinkin i gotta call it a nite my eyes are wanting to close on me…. love patsy  ,, oh no- not good -cant believe-cubs lost!

well, its getting late here  in byron, we finished dinner (laz) melissa and kids stopped over that was nice, they played around for awhile and grandpa got home early enough to enjoy them too, they got their surprises from uncle Jim that he ordered off the puter, taylor got a neat horse,and austin got a sonic shirt that he has wanted so bad for so long, he took his old t-shirt off so fast to put his new one on and the smile on the boys face was a happy one, now he cant wait to wear it to school tomorrow,then they played horses till it was time to go. im glad this rain stopped. it seemed to last all day

i wonder what minniepearl is doing it will be nice when mom and jim go get her tomorrow and she will be home in a familiar place. well its been nice telling you about my nite and now i must call it a nite, im like dad rite now i need some tooth picks to hold my eyes open. byebye nini love patsy

i seen a picture of the little baby yesterday (ultersound) melissa is 11 weeks today sept 4th the little person was about hmmm 2inches long wiggeling up a storm the little person must of heard taylor singing on the way to the doctors, it was one of the greatest things to see. taylor thought we were going to go to doc,s and get baby out and i told her the baby is still cooking in mommies belly, she states” like the noodles in your pot when your cooking sphegghetti and they are hard and not done yet ” grandma says ya like noodles honey the baby is still cooking
